Lodi Sat. 11/3/18 – still need drivers & pit crew

What we need:

DRIVERS:

  • Arrive at Antelope High School to load at 11:00 am.
  • Depart from Antelope High School for Lodi once trucks are loaded.
  • Depart from Lodi for Antelope High School to unload (time TBD).
  • go home!

2 trucks with class 4 hitches and brake controls for the 20 foot trailers

1 vehicle that can pull the golf cart trailer

PIT CREW: We will need 12 parents for the Lodi Field Show. People need to be at Lodi Grape Bowl @ Antelope Band staging area by 6:00 pm.

The estimated length of time needed for Pit Crew should be from 6:00 – 8:15. Help will be needed to set up flags.

People will be there to help explain what to do and how you can help. Come experience the best seats in the house!

**Drivers can also sign up for Pit Crew!

Duties to include: Assist students with transporting pit equipment to the field staging area. Help students move pit equipment onto and off the field as well as back to the staging area. Once equipment is returned, pit crew can leave.

If some parents can stay longer, help may be needed to break down pop-ups and other misc. equipment.

In case a parent is not able to make it, we are also asking for people to sign-up as a “stand-by” or backup volunteer for Pit Crew.

Lodi Competition dinner donations

The schedule for Lodi is being confirmed and will be sent out as soon as it’s finalized. Students have practice on Saturday 11/3 from 9am – 11am.  Buses leave for Lodi at 2pm from AHS.

Our next field show is at the Lodi Grape Bowl on 11/3/2018. Food donations and volunteer help are needed.

We are also in need of parent help as Bus Chaperones.  We need four (4) parents to ride, two on each bus. Sign ups are in the link at the bottom. 

Please make sure your student brings their personal water jug to every competition.  Additional water will be available.

We will serve the kids dinner which will include pulled pork sandwiches, pasta salad, corn and cupcakes for dessert at approximately 4:30pm. We will also provide a light snack after the performance.

Please bring all food donations to the band room on Saturday, 11/3/2018 at 9:00am when your student is dropped off.

Volunteers will need to arrive at the stadium 3:00pm. Please bring your own chairs. Text Kim @ 916.595.0703 when you arrive at the stadium to locate the hospitality team.

Del Oro Band Spectacular – Food donation & bus chaperone request

Our next field show is at Del Oro High School on 10/20/2018. Food donations and volunteer help are needed.

We are in need of volunteers to help drive trailers and assist with Pit Crew at Oakmonth HS for this Saturday’s field show competition.

Oakmont Field Show 10/13/2018 – Food Donations & Volunteer Sign Ups

Our first field show is at Oakmont High School on 10/13/2018. Food donations and volunteer help are needed. Please make sure your student brings their personal water jug to every competition.  Additional water will be available.
We will serve the kids dinner which will include teriyaki chicken, rice, stir fry veggies and chocolate and yellow cake for dessert at approximately 3pm. We will also provide a light snack after the performance.
 
As always, if your student has any dietary restrictions, please email me at president@antelopeband.org and we will make every effort to accommodate.
Please bring all food donations to the band room on Saturday, 10/13/2018 at 8:00am when your student is dropped off.
